Painting trees in watercolour – August 28th
A Saturday painting day at St Michaels Church Hall, Gelli Aur. This day is suitable for beginners and those with a little experience. We shall be learning to mix convincing greens and completing at least one simple landscape scene with trees and foliage. The cost for the day is £25 payable on booking and includes tea and coffee all day and most materials. Time- 10-4.30 with a break for lunch. Please bring your own packed lunch. Watercolour painting for absolute beginners Saturday Feb 27th
A day for absolute beginners and those with a little experience who would like to revise some watercolour techniques including basic washes and both wet onto dry and wet into wet techniques. The theme for the day will be easy snow scenes. Venue St. Michaels Church Hall, Gelli Aur. Time 10.00am- 4.00pm. Cost £25 to include materials and tea and coffee all day. Please bring a packed lunch.

January 30th
‘Oil in one go’ An introduction to oil painting for absolute beginners and those with a little experience. There will be information about paints, brushes, grounds etc and an opportunity to practice techniques and complete a small painting alla prima – in one go!
February 27th
‘Easy snow scenes’ Watercolour painting for absolute beginners and those with a little experience. An introduction to materials and techniques using snowy landscapes as the theme for the day.
March 27th
‘Wet into wet’ Watercolour painting techniques for beginners and improvers. A wet into wet approach to painting skies with simple landscapes and seascapes.
April 24th
‘Painting trees in oil’ An oil painting day for improvers and those with a little experience. Learning to mix convincing greens and an alla prima approach to painting trees and foliage in the landscape – in one go!
July 31st
This workshop has been cancelled as Wendy is running a similar one at a different venue in Carmarthen on Tuesday 27th July. Details will follow.
