About Wendy
I have been painting professionally now for fifteen years and had a gallery- The Bridge Gallery – in Llandeilo for ten of those. They were sucessful years during which I put on many exhibitions both of my own work and that of other professional artists living and working in Wales.
In 2008 I decided that I wanted to do less on the retail side and concentrate on my own painting and tutoring . I took an opportunity to work with welsh artist Anthony Richards and together we have extended his established Ammanford studio to provide a gallery space for our work. The gallery is called The CornerHouse.
Most of my work is landscape and until fairly recently I painted almost exclusively in watercolour but am now also enjoying painting in oils. My inspiration and love are the beautiful and diverse landscapes and seascapes of Wales especially The Towy Valley where I have my home.
In my ‘spare time’ I like to explore and enjoy the countryside with my husband Chris in our camper van. I enjoy walking, bird watching and photography.
